Bring Find Your VOICE as a Leader™
To Your Organization

A Sample of Paul's Workshops:

✔ Find Your VOICE as a Global Leader

Each day, leaders should reflect and answer: “What is my purpose? What is my impact? Am I building the legacy I desire?” In today’s global community, leaders need to be able to distinguish between the “art and science” of leadership while deliberately communicating their vision so that they successfully propel their organization into the future. Pointing fingers does not work…but influencing people towards your vision as a leader does. Leaders cannot hide. They cannot remain in the shadows. Leaders need to stand up and stand for something. Leaders need to find their voice.

Participants will learn how to create their unique “V-O-I-C-E” by

  • Discovering their core leadership Values;
  • Authoring their Outcomes for a successful vision;
  • Exercising their Influence to build trust and credibility;
  • Demonstrating their Courage to grow and develop; and
  • Communicating their leadership Expression to create a lasting legacy.

✔ Changing = Thriving

Change is constant. You cannot hide from it. You cannot run from it. And the most successful organizations are those that learn to adapt to change and thrive from it. Change is not something that should be managed, it is something that should be led.  How many times have we heard that “change is the new normal?” More than ever before, organizations need to evolve, innovate and adapt to remain competitive and chart a productive vision for the future. And companies are depending on their leaders to support and successfully lead all stages of the forward momentum of change. This workshop will define change and develop positive and creative leaders that will motivate their teams through change and the opportunities that come with it.

Participants will learn how to

  • recognize and successfully lead your team through the four stages of reacting to change
  • encourage your employees to be innovative and creative with change
  • manage stress and uncertainty that often accompanies change

Leaders need to embrace such changes and model this adaptability for all the employees. When an organization and individuals really understand what is changing and identify their role within that change, then people can align alongside change rather than against it.

✔ Leading With Influence: Keeping Your I/O Scale In Balance

As a leader, you may have the “best of intent” but if you do not align your intentions with clear and deliberate outcomes, you will remain firmly marooned on “Intention Island.” “I had the best of intention…” becomes the excuse for no action or results. Leaders need to combine influence with motivation. Influence with courage. And influence with outcomes. Get rid of obstacles in the way of top performance and help your team and organization become unstuck and move forward.

Participants will learn and practice

  • how to lead with influence
  • how to keep their “I/O Scale” in balance so they are viewed as influential and purposeful
  • how to listen to understand versus listening to reply

✔ Leading With Courage: Expand Your Team's CZ

Effective teamwork doesn’t happen by accident, you need to have team leaders who know how to purposely step out of their Comfort Zone and use conflict to move the team forward. There may be no “I” in team but in any successful team, there needs to be trust, engagement, personal accountability and consistent momentum. This session will introduce leaders how to be more confident in the creation of a stellar team and understand how the demonstration of courageous interpersonal skills are critical to successfully navigate the myriad of human dynamics that are sure to arise.

Participants will learn how to

  • find their courageous voice as a team and use conflict to get unstuck
  • build and sustain trust while creating an environment of collaboration and commitment
  • create a powerful environment of respect and accountability

✔ Coaching For Brilliance

Truly successful leaders are distinguished by a high degree of Emotional Intelligence, which includes self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. These qualities may sound “soft” and un-businesslike, but there are direct ties between emotional intelligence and measurable business results. The combination of the traditional leadership qualities and a high degree of emotional intelligence is critical for the success of your leadership team and your organization.

Leaders are aware that managing and mentoring their staff can be similar to coaching a sports team. You have to combine inspiration with motivation. Encourage cooperation while producing stellar results. Get rid of obstacles in the way of top performance. And help employees become unstuck and move forward. But how do you practice all of this within a corporate environment? This workshop will introduce leaders to the right attitudes and critical skills to become valuable coaches for their team and even themselves. They will learn how to identify and ignite the potential in others so the average employee can become an exceptional star.

Participants will learn and practice the

  • techniques used by master business coaches to bring people together and build team collaboration
  • the "4Stand" model of performance communication to get the best out of your team
  • coaching tools that will assist with time and task management challenges while developing their own “coaching performance plan

As a leader...
  • What is my compelling vision?
  • What is my lasting legacy?
  • What is my unique "voice?
  • Where do I get stuck?
After spending more than 30 years in the corporate world, developing and leading teams and making every mistake a senior leader could make, I leaned from those failures and my many successes, and created the “Find Your V-O-I-C-E as a Leader” coaching model which provides the ability to:

  • Discover your critical leadership Values;
  • Create a compelling vision to get the Outcomes you desire;
  • Build relationships with Influence and credibility;
  • Make decisions that reveal your Courage to take a stand;
  • Communicate your overall Expression for lasting impact.
Besides authoring the new book, “Find Your VOICE as a Leader", I am a Certified Professional Performance Coach, a certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach and I am certified in the proven Clifton StrengthsFinder approach. Whew! So what does all this mean...besides that I am "certified?" It provides me, as an executive coach, a deeper understanding of what separates a successful leader from an ordinary leader. It allows me to tap into the potential of an individual via a trusting and deliberate coaching relationship so that my client can author their persuasive and personal leadership voice.

I love what I do as I get to partner with incredible leaders and teams to find their unique leadership “VOICE” and create purposeful outcomes for themselves and their organizations. I am honored to work at a variety of orgs like Twitter, Electronic Arts, Autodesk, Walmart, Workday, Cisco, Mixpanel, PagerDuty, Charles Schwab & SAP.

I also have another passion, (ironically as an introvert!), which is speaking at captivating and interactive global conferences on the topic of leadership. I am a current member of the respected Forbes Coaches Council, the International Coach Federation (ICF), the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD). In my spare time, I can be found somewhere in Southeast Asia helping local communities as a Board member with “Together We Can Change The World.”
